Marina Nabais Dança, cultural association (MND) started in December 2013, with the main focus on research, creation and dissemination of performances in the field of Contemporary Movement, as well as the promotion of pedagogical projects, in a logic of collaboration and interdisciplinarity.
In search of a certain understanding and relation with the world, the association finds its roots on the body in permanent transformation, where the movement is in constant metamorphosis, always connected with the present moment.
The main matters of this on going search are the awareness and perception of the body as well as its potentialities of movement, the relation with a proper measure of effort and the stimulation of the imaginary and creativity.
MND connects with all life stages, where each phase of individual and collective human development has something very precious to contribute.
In 2023, Marina Nabais Dança is a structure supported by Almada City Council and Lisbon City Council.
