Little Poems Outside (LPO) is a project based on the work of the body in movement through a close and intimate relationship with nature. One of the aims is precisely to get the public to interact directly with the outdoors and natural spaces, in interaction with the performers.

As part of this project, MND proposes dynamic and participatory training for trainers, teachers, educators or cultural mediators, who will then be able to implement activities with their trainees and students – activities that are also very playful, dynamic and involving movement. The training will be based on two poems in video format: “The life of the seed” and “Window of sensations”. These educational videos were created in 2020 in the context of the pandemic as a way of bringing the performing arts to the school and family context through different formats. They are the result of an artistic premise of (re)connecting the body to nature, inviting us on short journeys both “inside” (through our sensations) and “outside” (through an analysis of the various stages of a seed’s life).

Suggestion booklets with guidelines will be provided to all those enrolled in the training, so that they can prepare for it and have more detailed information. During the period of implementation of the activities, online support (10 hours) will be provided to a maximum of 3 participants, should they need guidance or clarification.

– to share the content underlying the performance “Little Poems Outside”
– to work on the relationship between body and nature
– strengthen ties between the artistic and educational communities
– transmit content and suggestions for practical proposals in the area of dance and movement, to be implemented in a real context
– renew notions of play, relationship and space
