The Place I Occupy

The position one chooses and the place one occupies can have significant individual and collective consequences. This presentation arises from a choreographic laboratory, where from five pre-defined positions we tried to investigate their links and observe the possibilities of improvised movement. Through differences in interpretation, weight, level, rhythm, and occupation of space, the individual gave origin to a living architecture in which each one occupied a place in a whole that all the time transfigures and reorganizes itself. From our search a common consciousness was born – an organism that suddenly dances.
